A Joyful Celebration: Carol Singing at Glossop Primary Care Centre

On Tuesday 17 December, the halls of Glossop Primary Care Centre were filled with festive cheer as the community came together for a heartwarming Carol Singing event. This special occasion featured two sessions, each showcasing the talent of local primary school choirs.

The morning began on a high note with a captivating performance by the Whitfield St James Primary School Choir. Their harmonious voices brought a touch of magic to the centre, spreading joy to everyone who had the pleasure of listening.

In the afternoon, the festive spirit continued as the Duke of Norfolk Primary School Choir took the stage. Their lively and heartfelt renditions of holiday classics were a treat for the audience, adding to the day’s festive atmosphere.

This event wasn’t just about music; it was a celebration of community, connection, and the holiday spirit. Patients, staff, and visitors alike were uplifted by the wonderful performances, proving once again the power of music to bring people together - with refreshments funded by Bury, Tameside and Glossop Estates Partnership.

A big thank you to the talented students, their dedicated teachers, and everyone who supported this event. Glossop Primary Care Centre is proud to host moments like these that remind us all of the importance of community and joy during the festive season.

Here’s to more events that bring smiles and togetherness in the new year!
